இதோ, ஜாĠοஜாதிக்குத் தீமைபரம்பும், பூமியின் எல்லைகளிலிருந்து மகா புசல் எழும்பும்.

இதோ, கோராவாரிக் காற்றாகிய கர்த்தருடைய பெருங்காற்று உக்கிரமாயெழும்பி, அடித்து, துன்மார்க்கருடைய தலையின்மேல் மோதும்.

ரப்பாவின் மதிலுக்குள் தீக்கொளுத்துவேன்; அது யுத்தநாளின் முழக்கமாகவும், பெருங்காற்றின் புசலாகவும் அதின் அரமனைகளைப் பட்சிக்கும்.

முள் நெருப்பினால் உங்கள் பானைகளில் சூடேறுமுன்னே பச்சையானதையும் எரிந்துபோனதையும் அவர் சுழல்காற்றினால் அடித்துக்கொண்டுபோவார்.

ஆகையால் கர்த்தருடைய கோபம் தமது ஜனங்களுக்கு விரோதமாய் மூண்டது; அவர் தமது கையை அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாய் நீட்டி பர்வதங்கள் அதிரத்தக்கதாயும், அவர்கள் பிணங்கள் நடுவீதிகளில் குப்பைபோலாகத்தக்கதாயும், அவர்களை அடித்தார்; இவை எல்லாவற்றிலும் அவருடைய கோபம் ஆறாமல், இன்னும் அவருடைய கை நீட்டினபடியே இருக்கிறது.

வனாந்தரத்திலுள்ள உயர்நிலங்களிலிருந்து, ஒரு தீக்காற்று என் ஜனமாகிய குமாரத்திக்கு நேராக அடிக்கும் என்று அக்காலத்திலே இந்த ஜனத்தோடும் எருசலேமோடும் சொல்லப்படும்; அது தூற்றவுமாட்டாது சுத்திகரிக்கவுமாட்டாது.

கர்த்தர் நீடிய சாந்தமும், மிகுந்த வல்லமையுமுள்ளவர்; அவர்களை ஆக்கினையில்லாமல் தப்புவிக்கமாட்டார்; கர்த்தருடைய வழி சுழல்காற்றிலும் பெருங்காற்றிலும் இருக்கிறது; மேகங்கள் அவருடைய பாதத்துக்குள்ளாயிருக்கிறது.
