சொப்பனங்கண்ட தீர்க்கதரிசி சொப்பனத்தை விவரிப்பானாக; என் வார்த்தையுள்ளவனோ, என் வார்த்தையை உண்மையாய்ச் சொல்வானாக; கோதுமைக்குமுன் பதர் எம்மாத்திரம்? என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

வைக்கோல் கோதுமையைப்போன்று ஆகாது. இது போலவே, அத்தீரிக்கதரிசிகளின் கனவுகள் எல்லாம் என்னிடமிருந்து வரும் செய்திகள் ஆகாது. ஒருவன் தனது கனவுகளைப்பற்றிச் சொல்ல விரும்பினால், அவன் சொல்லட்டும். ஆனால், எனது நற்செய்தியை கேட்கட்டும் நற்செய்தியைக் கேட்கிற மனிதன் எனது செய்தியை உண்மையுடன் கூறட்டும்.”

கனவு கண்ட இறைவாக்கினன் தன் கனவை எடுத்துச் சொல்லட்டும். என் சொல்லைத் தன்னிடத்தில் கொண்டிருப்பவனோ அதனை உண்மையோடு எடுத்துரைக்கட்டும். தாளைத் தானியத்தோடு ஒப்பிட முடியுமா? என்கிறார் ஆண்டவர்.
