யோசியாவின் குமாரனாகிய யோயாக்கீம் என்கிற யூதாவுடைய ராஜாவின் நாலாம் வருஷத்துக்கு சரியான, பாபிலோன் ராஜாவாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் அரசாண்ட முதலாம் வருஷத்திலே யூதாவின் ஜனம் அனைத்தையும் குறித்து எரேமியாவுக்கு உண்டான வார்த்தை:

யூதாவின் ஜனங்களைக் குறித்து எரேமியாவிற்கு வந்த வார்த்தை இதுதான். யூதாவின் அரசனாக யோயாக்கீம் ஆண்ட நான்காவது ஆண்டில் இந்த வார்த்தை வந்தது. யோயாக்கீம் யோசியாவின் மகன். அவன் அரசனான நான்காவது ஆண்டு, பாபிலோனின் அரசனான நேபுகாத்நேச்சாருக்கு முதல் ஆண்டாக இருந்தது.
