எரேமியா 26:21
யோயாக்கீம் ராஜாவும் அவனுடைய சகல பராக்கிரமசாலிகளும் பிரபுக்களும் அவன் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டபோது, ராஜா அவனைக் கொன்றுபோடும்படி எத்தனித்தான்; அதை உரியா கேட்டு, பயந்து, ஓடிப்போய், எகிப்திலே சேர்ந்தான்.

யோயாக்கீம் ராஜாவும் அவனுடைய எல்லா பராக்கிரமசாலிகளும் பிரபுக்களும் அவன் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டபோது, ராஜா அவனைக் கொன்றுபோட தீர்மானித்தான்; அதை உரியா கேட்டு, பயந்து, ஓடிப்போய், எகிப்தில் சேர்ந்தான்.

உரியா பிரச்சாரம் செய்வதை யோயாக்கீம் அரசனும் அவனது படை அதிகாரிகளும் யூதாவின் தலைவர்களும் கேட்டனர். அவர்கள் கோபம் கொண்டனர். யோயாக்கீம் அரசன் உரியாவைக் கொல்ல விரும்பினான். ஆனால் உரியா யோயாக்கீம் தன்னைக் கொல்ல விரும்புவதைப்பற்றி அறிந்தான். உரியா பயந்தான். எனவே எகிப்து நாட்டிற்குத் தப்பித்து ஓடினான்.

திருவிவிலியம்
யோயாக்கிம் அரசரும் அவருடைய படைவீரர்களும் தலைவர்கள் அனைவரும் உரியா சொன்னதைக் கேட்டனர். உடனே அரசர் அவரைக் கொல்ல முயன்றார். ஆனால் உரியா அதை அறிந்து அச்சமுற்று எகிப்துக்குத் தப்பி ஓடிவிட்டார்.
