எரேமியா 28:9
சமாதானம் வரும் என்று தீர்க்கதரிசி தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லியிருக்க, அந்தத் தீர்க்கதரிசி சொன்ன வார்த்தையின்படியே வந்தால், அப்பொழுது அவன் கர்த்தர் மெய்யாய் அனுப்பின தீர்க்கதரிசியாக விளங்குவானென்று எரேமியா தீர்க்கதரிசி சொன்னான்.

ஆனால் பிரச்சாரம் செய்கிற தீர்க்கதரிசி நமக்கு சமாதானம் வரும் என்று சொன்னால் அவன் கர்த்தரால் அனுப்பப்பட்டவனா என்பதை நாம் சோதித்து பார்க்க வேண்டும். தீர்க்கதரிசி சொன்ன செய்தி உண்மையானால் பிறகு ஜனங்கள் அவன் உண்மையில் கர்த்தரால் அனுப்பப்பட்டவன் என்பதை அறிவார்கள்.”

நல்வாழ்வை முன்னறிவிக்கும் இறைவாக்கினரைப் பொறுத்தவரை, அவரது வாக்கு நிறைவேறும் பொழுதுதான், ஆண்டவர் அவரை உண்மையாகவே அனுப்பியுள்ளார் என்பது தெரியவரும்” என்றார்.⒫
