உன் நேசர் யாவரும் உன்னை மறந்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் உன்னைத் தேடார்கள்; திரளான உன் அக்கிரமத்தினிமித்தமும், உன் பாவங்கள் பலத்துப்போனதினிமித்தமும், சத்துரு வெட்டும் வண்ணமாகவும், கொடியவன் தண்டிக்கிற வண்ணமாகவும் நான் உன்னைத் தண்டித்தேன்.

நீங்கள் பல நாடுகளோடு நட்புக்கொண்டீர்கள். ஆனால் அந்நாடுகள் உங்களைப்பற்றி கவலைப்படுவதில்லை. உங்கள் ‘நண்பர்கள்’ உங்களை மறந்துவிட்டனர். நான் உங்களைப் பகைவனைப் போன்று தண்டித்தேன். நான் உங்களை மிகக் கடுமையாகத் தண்டித்தேன். உங்களது அநேக குற்றங்களால் நான் இதனைச் செய்தேன். உங்களது எண்ணிலடங்கா பாவங்களால் நான் இதனைச் செய்தேன்.
