மோசேயின் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறபடி, நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய கட்டளைகளையும், கற்பனைகளையும், நியாயங்களையும், சாட்சிகளையும் கைக்கொள்ள, அவர் வழிகளில் நடக்கும் படிக்கு அவருடைய காவலைக் காப்பாயாக.

அவன் சந்ததி என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருக்கவும், அவன் ராஜாசனம் வானங்களுள்ளமட்டும் நிலைநிற்கவும்செய்வேன்.

இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, தேவரீர் என் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீது என்னும் உம்முடைய தாசனை நோக்கி: நீ எனக்கு முன்பாக நடந்தது போல, உன் குமாரரும் எனக்கு முன்பாக நடக்கும்படி தங்கள் வழியைக் காப்பார்களேயானால், இஸ்ரவேலின் சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் வீற்றிருக்கும் புருஷன் எனக்கு முன்பாக உனக்கு இல்லாமற்போவதில்லை என்று சொன்னதை இப்பொழுது அவனுக்கு நிறைவேற்றும்.

நீ உன் பிதாக்களிடத்திலே போக, உன் நாட்கள் நிறைவேறும்போது, நான் உனக்குப்பின்பு உன் புத்திரரில் ஒருவனாகிய உன் சந்ததியை எழும்பப்பண்ணி, அவன் ராஜ்யத்தை நிலைப்படுத்துவேன்.

அது யோவாபுடைய தலையின் மேலும், அவன் தகப்பன் குடும்பத்தின் மேலும் சுமந்திருப்பதாக; யோவாபின் வீட்டாரிலே பிரமியக்காரனும், குஷ்டரோகியும், கோல் ஊன்றி நடக்கிறவனும், பட்டயத்தால் விழுகிறவனும், அப்பம் குறைச்சலுள்ளவனும் ஒருக்காலும் ஒழிந்துபோகவதில்லை என்றான்.

நான் அவனுக்குப் பிதாவாயிருப்பேன், அவன் எனக்குக் குமாரனாயிருப்பான்; அவன் அக்கிரமம் செய்தால், நான் அவனை மனுஷருடைய மிலாற்றினாலும் மனுபுத்திரருடைய அடிகளினாலும் தண்டிப்பேன்.

இப்போதும் உமது அடியானின் வீடு என்றைக்கும் உமக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கும்படிக்கு, அதை ஆசிர்வதித்தருளினீர்; கர்த்தராகிய தேவரீர் அதை ஆர்வதித்தபடியினால், அது என்றைக்கும் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் என்றான்.

தாவீதின் சிங்காசனத்தையும் அவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தையும் அவர் திடப்படுத்தி அதை இதுமுதற்கொண்டு என்றென்றைக்கும் நியாயத்திலும் நீதியினாலும் நிலைப்படுத்தும்படிக்கு, அவருடைய கர்த்தத்துவத்தின் பெருக்கத்துக்கும், அதின் சமாதானத்துக்கும் முடிவில்லை; சேனைகளின் கர்த்தருடைய வைராக்கியம் இதைச் செய்யும்.

ஆதலால் சகல நாட்களிலும் எனக்கு முன்பாக நிற்கத்தக்க புருஷன் ரேகாபின் குமாரனாகிய யோனதாபுக்கு இல்லாமற்போவதில்லையென்று இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றான்.

அவர் பெரியவராயிருப்பார், உன்னதமானவருடைய குமாரன் என்னப்படுவார்; கர்த்தராகிய தேவன் அவருடைய பிதாவாகிய தாவீதின் சிங்காசனத்தை அவருக்குக் கொடுப்பார்.
