எரேமியா 36:32
அப்பொழுது எரேமியா வேறொரு சுருளை எடுத்து, அதை நேரியாவின் குமாரனாகிய பாருக்கு என்னும் சம்பிரதியினிடத்தில் கொடுத்தான்; அவன் யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய யோயாக்கீம் அக்கினியால் சுட்டெரித்த புஸ்தகத்தின் வார்த்தைகளையெல்லாம், அதிலே எரேமியாவின் வாய் சொல்ல எழுதினான்; இன்னும் அவைகளுக்கொத்த அநேகம் வார்த்தைகளும் அவைகளோடே சேர்க்கப்பட்டது.

அப்பொழுது எரேமியா வேறொரு சுருளை எடுத்து, அதை நேரியாவின் மகனாகிய பாருக்கு என்னும் காரியதரிசியினிடத்தில் கொடுத்தான்; அவன் யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய யோயாக்கீம் நெருப்பால் சுட்டெரித்த புத்தகத்தின் வார்த்தைகளையெல்லாம், அதில் எரேமியாவின் வாய் சொல்ல எழுதினான்; இன்னும் அவைகளைப்போல அநேகம் வார்த்தைகளும் அவைகளுடன் சேர்க்கப்பட்டது.

பிறகு எரேமியா இன்னொரு புத்தகச் சுருளை எடுத்தான். அவன் அதனை எழுத்தாளன் நேரியாவின் மகனான பாருக்கிடம் கொடுத்தான். எரேமியா சொன்னபடி, பாருக் புத்தகச் சுருளில் எழுதினான். அதில் அரசன் யோயாக்கீமால் நெருப்பில் எரிக்கப்பட்ட அதே செய்திகளை எழுதினான். அச்செய்திகளைப் போன்ற பல்வேறு வார்த்தைகளும் இரண்டாவது புத்தகச் சுருளில் சேர்க்கப்பட்டன.

பின்னர் எரேமியா மற்றுமோர் ஏட்டுச்சுருளை எடுத்து, நேரியாவின் மகனும் எழுத்தருமான பாரூக்கிடம் கொடுத்தார். யூதாவின் அரசன் யோயாக்கிம் எரித்த ஏட்டுச்சுருளில் காணப்பட்ட எல்லாச் சொற்களையும் எரேமியா சொல்லச் சொல்லப் பாரூக்கு மீண்டும் அவற்றை ஏட்டுச்சுருளில் எழுதினார். அவை போன்ற வேறு பலசொற்களும் அவற்றோடு சேர்க்கப்பெற்றன.
