கல்தேயர் நம்மைவிட்டு நிச்சயமாய்ப் போய்விடுவார்களென்று சொல்லி, நீங்கள் மோசம்போகாதிருங்கள், அவர்கள் போவதில்லை.

இதுதான் கர்த்தர் சொல்கிறது: ‘எருசலேம் ஜனங்களே உங்களை முட்டாள்களாக்காதீர்கள். நீங்கள் உங்களுக்குள் “பாபிலோனின் படை உறுதியாக நம்மைத் தனியேவிடும்” என்று சொல்ல வேண்டாம். அவர்கள் வேறிடத்திற்கு போகமாட்டார்கள்.
