எரேமியா 4:9
அந்நாளிலே ராஜாவின் இருதயமும், பிரபுக்களின் இருதயமும் மடிந்துபோம்; ஆசாரியர்கள் திடுக்கிட்டு, தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் திகைப்பார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

அந்நாளில் ராஜாவின் இருதயமும், பிரபுக்களின் இருதயமும் சோர்ந்துபோகும்; ஆசாரியர்கள் திடுக்கிட்டு, தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் திகைப்பார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

கர்த்தர் இவ்வாறு சொல்கிறார், “இது நிகழும் காலத்தில் அரசனும், அவனது அதிகாரிகளும், தம் தைரியத்தை இழப்பார்கள். ஆசாரியர்கள் அஞ்சுவார்கள், தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் அதிர்ச்சியடைவார்கள்.”

அக்காலத்தில் அரசனும் தலைவர்களும் நம்பிக்கையிழந்துவிடுவர், என்கிறார் ஆண்டவர்; குருக்கள் திடுக்கிட்டுப் போவர்; இறைவாக்கினர் திகைத்து நிற்பர்.
