அவர்கள் நகரத்தின் மத்தியில் வந்தபோது, நெத்தானியாவின் குமாரனாகிய இஸ்மவேலும், அவனோடிருந்த மனுஷரும் அவர்களை வெட்டி ஒரு பள்ளத்திலே தள்ளிப்போட்டார்கள்.

அந்த 80 பேரும் அவனோடு மிஸ்பாவுக்குச் சென்றனர். பிறகு இஸ்மவேலும் அவனது ஆட்களும் அந்த 80 பேரைக் கொன்று அந்த 80 பேரின் உடல்களையும் ஆழமான ஒரு குழிக்குள் போடத் துவங்கினார்கள்.
