அது நன்மையானாலும் தீமையானாலும் சரி, எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் சத்தத்துக்கு நாங்கள் கீழ்ப்படிவதினால் எங்களுக்கு நன்மையுண்டாகும்படி நாங்கள் உம்மை அனுப்புகிற எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சத்தத்துக்குக் கீழ்படிந்து நடப்போம் என்றார்கள்.

அது நன்மையானாலும் தீமையானாலும் சரி, எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் சத்தத்திற்கு நாங்கள் கீழ்ப்படிவதினால் எங்களுக்கு நன்மையுண்டாக நாங்கள் உம்மை அனுப்புகிற எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சத்தத்திற்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து நடப்போம் என்றார்கள்.

நாங்கள் அச்செய்தியை விரும்புகிறோமா அல்லது அச்செய்தியை விரும்பவில்லையா என்பது ஒரு பொருட்டன்று. நமது தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு நாங்கள் அடிபணிவோம். நாங்கள் உம்மை எங்களுக்கான செய்தியை அறியவே அனுப்புகிறோம். அவர் என்ன சொல்கிறாரோ அதற்கு நாங்கள் அடிபணிவோம். பிறகு எங்களுக்கு நல்லவை நடக்கும். ஆம் நாங்கள் எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு அடிபணிவோம்” என்றனர்.

திருவிவிலியம்
எங்களுக்குப் பிடித்தாலும் பிடிக்காவிட்டாலும், நாங்கள் எம் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவரின் குரலுக்கே செவிசாய்ப்போம். அவரிடமே நாங்கள் உம்மை அனுப்பிவைக்கிறோம். ஏனெனில் எம் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவரின் குரலுக்கு நாங்கள் செவிசாய்க்கும் பொழுது, எங்களுக்கு நன்மையே விளையும்.”⒫
