எகிப்தின் தேவர்களுடைய கோவில்களில் அக்கினியைக் கொளுத்துவேன்; அவன் அவைகளைச் சுட்டெரித்து, அவைகளைச் சிறைபிடித்துப் போய், ஒரு மேய்ப்பன் தன் கம்பளியைப் போர்த்துக்கொள்ளுமாப் போல் எகிப்துதேசத்தைப் போர்த்துக்கொண்டு, அவ்விடத்திலிருந்து சுகமாய்ப் புறப்பட்டுப்போவான்.

நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் எகிப்திலுள்ள பொய்த் தெய்வங்களின் கோயிலில் நெருப்பை மூட்டுவான். அவன் அக்கோயில்களை எரிப்பான். அவன் அந்த விக்கிரகங்களை வெளியே எடுத்துப் போடுவான். ஒரு மேய்ப்பன் தனது ஆடையைச் சுத்தப்படுத்துவதற்கு அதில் உள்ள மூட்டைப்பூச்சிகளையும் ஓட்டுப்பூச்சிகளையும் எடுப்பான். அதே வழியில் நேபுகாத்நேச்சார் எகிப்தைச் சுத்தப்படுத்துவான். பிறகு அவன் பத்திரமாக எகிப்தை விடுவான்.

மேலும் அவன் எகிப்தியத் தெய்வங்களின் கோவில்களைத் தீக்கிரையாக்குவான்; அத்தெய்வச் சிலைகளை எரித்துத் தூக்கிச்செல்வான். இடையன் தன் ஆடையைத் துப்புரவு செய்வதுபோல், அவன் எகிப்தைத் துப்புரவு செய்வான்; அங்கிருந்து நலமே திரும்பிச் செல்வான்.
