இதோ, நான் அவர்கள்மேல் நன்மைக்கல்ல தீமைக்கே ஜாக்கிரதையாயிருப்பேன்; எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருக்கிற யூதா மனுஷர் எல்லாரும் ஒழிந்து தீருமளவும் பட்டயத்தாலும் பஞ்சத்தாலும் சங்காரமாவார்கள்.

இதோ, நான் அவர்கள்மேல் நன்மைக்கு அல்ல தீமைக்கே எச்சரிக்கையாக இருப்பேன்; எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருக்கிற யூதா மனிதர்கள் எல்லோரும் ஒழிந்துபோகும்வரை பட்டயத்தாலும் பஞ்சத்தாலும் அழிவார்கள்.

நான் யூதாவின் ஜனங்கள் மேல் கவனமாயிருக்கிறேன். ஆனால் நான் அவர்களின் மேல் நன்மைக்காக கவனித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கவில்லை. நான் அவர்கள் மேல் தீமை செய்வதற்காகவே கவனித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன். எகிப்தில் வாழ்கிற யூதாவின் ஜனங்கள் பசியால் மரிப்பார்கள்: அவர்கள் பட்டயத்தால் கொல்லப்படுவார்கள். அவர்கள் முடிந்து போகும்வரை தொடர்ந்து மரித்துக்கொண்டிருப்பார்கள்.
