“யூதாவே! உன்னை நான் எதற்காக மன்னிக்க வேண்டும்? என்று ஒரு நல்ல காரணத்தை எனக்குக் கொடு, உனது பிள்ளைகள் என்னை விட்டுவிட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் விக்கிரகங்களுக்கு, வாக்குறுதி செய்தனர். அந்த விக்கிரகங்கள் உண்மையில் தெய்வங்கள் அல்ல! நான் உனது பிள்ளைகளுக்குத் தேவையான அனைத்தையும் கொடுத்தேன். ஆனால் அவர்கள் இன்னும் எனக்கு உண்மையில்லாதவர்களாக இருக்கிறார்கள்! அவர்கள் வேசிகளோடு மிகுதியான காலத்தைச் செலவழிக்கிறார்கள்.
