மெய்யாகவே, பச்சைக்கிளிகளைப் போல் திரளான மனுஷரால் உன்னை நிரம்பப்பண்ணுவேன்; அவர்கள் உன்மேல் ஆரவாரம் பண்ணுவார்கள் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு ஆணையிட்டார்.

சர்வ வல்லமையுள்ள கர்த்தர் தன் நாமத்தைப் பயன்படுத்தி இந்த வாக்குறுதியைச் செய்தார். “பாபிலோனே, நான் உன்னைப் பல பகை வீரர்களால் நிரப்புவேன். அவர்கள் வெட்டுக்கிளியின் கூட்டத்தைப் போன்றிருப்பார்கள். உனக்கு எதிராகப் போரில் அவர்கள் வெல்வார்கள். அவர்கள் உனக்கு மேல் நின்றுக்கொண்டு வெற்றி முழக்கம் செய்வார்கள்.”
