அவர்களைக் காவற்சேனாதிபதியாகிய நேபுசராதான் பிடித்து, அவர்களை ரிப்லாவுக்குப் பாபிலோன் ராஜாவினிடத்திற்குக் கொண்டுபோய் விட்டான்.

நேபுசராதான் தளபதி இந்த அதிகாரிகள் எல்லோரையும் பிடித்தான். அவன் அவர்களை பாபிலோன் அரசனிடம் கொண்டு வந்தான். பாபிலோன் அரசன் ரிப்லா நகரில் இருந்தான். ரிப்லா ஆமாத் நாட்டில் இருக்கிறது. அந்த ரிப்லா நகரில், அரசன் அதிகாரிகளையெல்லாம் கொல்லும்படி கட்டளையிட்டான். எனவே யூதா ஜனங்கள் தமது நாட்டிலிருந்து பிடித்துச்செல்லப்பட்டனர்.
