பென்யமீன் புத்திரரே, நீங்கள் எருசலேமின் நடுவிலிருந்து ஏகமாய்க் கூடியோடி, தெக்கோவாவில் எக்காளம் ஊதி, பெத்கேரேமின்மேல் அடையாளமாகத் தீவெளிச்சங் காட்டுங்கள்; ஒரு தீங்கும் மகா சங்காரமும் வடக்கேயிருந்து தோன்றுகிறதாயிருக்கிறது.

பென்யமீன் ஜனங்களே! உங்கள் உயிருக்காக ஓடுங்கள். எருசலேம் நகரத்தை விட்டுத் தூர ஓடுங்கள்! தெக்கோவா நகரில் போர் எக்காளத்தை ஊதுங்கள்! பெத்கேரேம் நகரில் எச்சரிக்கை கொடியை ஏற்றுங்கள்! நீங்கள் இவற்றை செய்யுங்கள். ஏனென்றால், வடக்கிலிருந்து பேரழிவானது வந்துகொண்டிருக்கிறது. பயங்கரமான பேரழிவு உங்களுக்கு வந்துகொண்டிருக்கிறது.

O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Bethhaccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction.
