அவர்கள் நேசித்ததும், சேவித்ததும்,பின்பற்றினதும், நாடினதும், பணிந்துகொண்டதுமாயிருந்த சூரியனுக்கும், சந்திரனுக்கும், வானத்தின் சர்வசேனைக்கும் முன்பாக அவைகளைப் பரப்பிவைப்பார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; அவைகள் வாரி அடக்கம்பண்ணப்படாமல் பூமியின்மேல் எருவாகும்.

அவர்கள் அந்த எலும்புகளை தரையின் மீது சூரியன், சந்திரன், நட்சத்திரங்களுக்கு அடியில் பரப்பி வைப்பார்கள். எருசலேம் ஜனங்கள் சூரியன், சந்திரன், நட்சத்திரங்கள் ஆகியவற்றை நேசித்து, பின்தொடர்ந்து, குறி கேட்டு தொழுதுகொண்டனர். எவரும் அந்த எலும்புகளைச் சேகரித்து மீண்டும் அடக்கம் செய்யமாட்டார்கள். எனவே, அந்த ஜனங்களின் எலும்புகள், பூமியின் மேல் எருவைப் போன்று எறியப்படும்.

அவற்றைக் கதிரவன், நிலா, விண்மீன்கள் ஆகியவற்றின்முன் பரப்புவார்கள். இவற்றுக்குத்தாமே அவர்கள் அன்பு காட்டிப் பணிவிடை புரிந்தார்கள்! இவற்றின் பின்தானே அலைந்து திரிந்தார்கள்! இவற்றிடம் தானே குறி கேட்டார்கள்! இவற்றைத்தானே வழிபட்டார்கள்! அவ்வெலும்புகளை யாரும் மீண்டும் ஒன்றுசேர்த்துப் புதைக்கமாட்டார்கள். அவை தரையில் சாணம் போல் கிடக்கும்.
