ஆகாயத்திலுள்ள நாரை முதலாய்த் தன் வேளையை அறியும்; காட்டுப்புறாவும், கொக்கும், தகைவிலான் குவியும் தாங்கள் வரத்தக்க காலத்தை அறியும்; என் ஜனங்களோ கர்த்தரின் நியாயத்தை அறியார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல்.

ஆகாயத்திலுள்ள நாரை முதலாய்த் தன் வேளையை அறியும்; காட்டுப்புறாவும், கொக்கும், தகைவிலான் குருவியும் தாங்கள் வரத்தக்க காலத்தை அறியும்; என் மக்களோ கர்த்தரின் நியாயத்தை அறியார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் உரைக்கிறாரென்று சொல்.

வானத்து பறவைகளுக்குக் கூடச் செயல்களைச் செய்வதற்கான சரியான நேரம் தெரியும். நாரைகள், புறாக்கள், தகைவிலான் குருவிகள் ஆகியவற்றுக்கு புதிய கூட்டிற்குப் பறந்து செல்லவேண்டிய நேரம் தெரியும். ஆனால், எனது ஜனங்களுக்குத் தாங்கள் என்ன செய்ய வேண்டுமென்று கர்த்தர் விரும்புகிறார் என்பது தெரியாது.
