இருளிலிருந்து திரும்பிவர அவனுக்கு நம்பிக்கையில்லாமல், பதிவிருக்கிறவர்களின் பட்டயத்துக்கு அவன் பயப்படுகிறான்.

தீயவன் நம்பிக்கையற்றுக் கலங்குகிறான், மரண இருளிலிருந்து தப்புவதற்கு அவனுக்கு எந்த நம்பிக்கையுமில்லை. அவனைக் கொல்லக் காத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் வாள் ஒன்று எங்கோ உள்ளது.
