இணை வசனம்

இவன் இப்படிப் பேசிக்கொண்டிருக்கையில், வேறொருவன் வந்து: வானத்திலிருந்து தேவனுடைய அக்கினி விழுந்து, ஆடுகளையும் வேலையாட்களையும் சுட்டெரித்துப்போட்டது; நான் ஒருவன்மாத்திரம் தப்பி, அதை உமக்கு அறிவிக்கும்படி வந்தேன் என்றான்.

அக்கிரமக்காரருக்குள் வாசமாயிருக்கையில் அவர்களுடைய காமவிகார நடக்கையால் வருத்தப்பட்டு;

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் சோதோமின்மேலும் கொமோராவின்மேலும், கர்த்தராலே வானத்திலிருந்து கந்தகத்தையும் அக்கினியையும் வருஷிக்கப்பண்ணி,

குற்றமில்லாமல் அழிந்தவன் உண்டோ? சன்மார்க்கர் அதம்பண்ணப்பட்டது எப்போ? இதை நினைத்துப்பாரும்.

தேவன் நியாயத்தைப் புரட்டுவாரோ? சர்வவல்லவர் நீதியைப் புரட்டுவாரோ?

Ήம்முடைய வாய் உம்முடைய அக͠Εிரமத்தைச் சொல்லிக்காட்டுகிறது; நீர் தந்திரமுள்ளவர்களின் நாவைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டீர்.

இருளுக்கு அவன் தப்புவதில்லை; அக்கினி ஜுவாலை அவனுடைய கிளையைக் காய்ந்துபோகப்பண்ணும்; அவருடைய வாயின் சுவாசத்தால் அற்றுப்போவான்.

தான் பிரயாசப்பட்டுத் தேடினதை அவன் விழுங்காமல் திரும்பக்கொடுப்பான்; அவன் திரும்பக்கொடுக்கிறது அவன் ஆஸ்திக்குச் சரியாயிருக்கும், அவன் களிகூராதிருப்பான்.

அவன் ஒளிக்கும் இடங்களில் காரிருள் அடங்கியிருக்கும்; அவியாத அக்கினி அவனைப் பட்சிக்கும்; அவன் கூடாரத்தில் மீதியாயிருக்கிறவன் தீங்கு அநுபவிப்பான்.

இதோ, நான் உங்கள் நினைவுகளையும், நீங்கள் என்னைப்பற்றி அநியாயாமாய்க் கொண்டிருக்கும் ஆலோசனைகளையும் அறிவேன்.

பிலாத்து சில கலிலேயருடைய இரத்தத்தை அவர்களுடைய பலிகளோடே கலந்திருந்தான்; அந்த வேளையிலே அங்கே இருந்தவர்களில் சிலர் அந்தச்செய்தியை அவருக்கு அறிவித்தார்கள்.

லோத்து சோதோமை விட்டுப் புறப்பட்ட நாளிலே வானத்திலிருந்து அக்கினியும் கந்தகமும் வருஷித்து, எல்லாரையும் அழித்துப்போட்டது.
