அவன் மறுதலியாமல் அறிக்கையிட்டதுமன்றி, நான் கிறிஸ்து அல்ல என்றும் அறிக்கையிட்டான்.

யோவான் அவர்களிடம் தாராளமாகப் பேசினான். அவன் பதில் சொல்ல மறுக்கவில்லை. “நான் கிறிஸ்து அல்ல” என்று யோவான் தெளிவாகக் கூறினான். இது தான் அவன் மக்களிடம் சொன்னது.
