தம்மைக் காட்டிக்கொடுக்கிறவனை அவர் அறிந்திருந்தபடியினால் நீங்களெல்லாரும் சுத்தமுள்ளவர்கள் அல்ல என்றார்.

யார் தனக்கு எதிராக மாறியுள்ளவன் என்று இயேசுவுக்குத் தெரியும். அதனால்தான் இயேசு “நீங்கள் அனைவரும் சுத்தமாக இல்லை” என்று கூறினார்.

தம்மைக் காட்டிக்கொடுப்பவன் எவன் என்று அவருக்கு ஏற்கெனவே தெரிந்திருந்தது. எனவேதான் “உங்களுள் அனைவரும் தூய்மையாய் இல்லை” என்றார்.⒫
