இயேசு அவர்களுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: என் உபதேசம் என்னுடையதாயிராமல், என்னை அனுப்பினவருடையதாயிருக்கிறது.

அப்பொழுது, இடதுபக்கத்தில் நிற்கிறவர்களைப்பார்த்து அவர்: சபிக்கப்பட்டவர்களே, என்னைவிட்டு, பிசாசுக்காகவும் அவன் தூதர்களுக்காகவும் ஆயத்தம்பண்ணப்பட்டிருக்கிற நித்திய அக்கினியிலே போங்கள்.

இயேசு அவர்களை நோக்கி: தேவன் உங்கள் பிதாவாயிருந்தால் என்னிடத்தில் அன்பாயிருப்பீர்கள். ஏனெனில் நான் தேவனிடத்திலிருந்து வந்திருக்கிறேன்; நான் சுயமாய் வரவில்லை, அவரே என்னை அனுப்பினார்.

அப்பொழுது இயேசு அவர்களை நோக்கி: மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் பிதாவானவர் செய்யக் குமாரன் காண்கிறதெதுவோ, அதையேயன்றி, வேறொன்றையும் தாமாய்ச் செய்யமாட்டார்; அவர் எவைகளைச் செய்கிறாரோ, அவைகளைக் குமாரனும் அந்தப்படியே செய்கிறார்.
