இயேசு மறுபடியும் அவர்களை நோக்கி: உங்களுக்குச் சமாதானமுண்டாவதாக; பிதா என்னை அனுப்பினதுபோல நானும் உங்களை அனுப்புகிறேன் என்று சொல்லி,

கர்த்தராகிய தேவனுடைய ஆவியானவர் என்மேல் இருக்கிறார்; சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்களுக்குச் சுவிசேஷத்தை அறிவிக்கக் கர்த்தர் என்னை அபிஷேகம்பண்ணினார்; இருதயம் நொறுங்குண்டவர்களுக்குக் காயங்கட்டுதலையும், சிறைப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு விடுதலையையும், கட்டுண்டவர்களுக்குக் கட்டவிழ்த்தலையும் கூறவும்,

ஒன்றான மெய்த்தேவனாகிய உம்மையும் நீர் அனுப்பினவராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவையும் அறிவதே நித்தியஜீவன்.

நீர் எனக்குக் கொடுத்த வார்த்தைகளை நான் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தேன்; அவர்கள் அவைகளை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு, நான் உம்மிடத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுவந்தேன் என்று நிச்சயமாய் அறிந்து, நீர், என்னை அனுப்பினீர் என்று விசுவாசித்திருக்கிறார்கள்.

அவர்களெல்லாரும் ஒன்றாயிருக்கவும், பிதாவே, நீர் என்னை அனுப்பினதை உலகம் விசுவாசிக்கிறதற்காக, நீர் என்னிலேயும் நான் உம்மிலேயும் இருக்கிறதுபோல அவர்களெல்லாரும் நம்மில் ஒன்றாயிருக்கவும் வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்.

ஒருமைப்பாட்டில் அவர்கள் தேறினவர்களாயிருக்கும்படிக்கும், என்னை நீர் அனுப்பினதையும், நீர் என்னில் அன்பாயிருக்கிறதுபோல அவர்களிலும் அன்பாயிருக்கிறதையும் உலகம் அறியும்படிக்கும், நான் அவர்களிலும் நீர் என்னிலும் இருக்கும்படி வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறேன்.

நீதியுள்ள பிதாவே, உலகம் உம்மை அறியவில்லை, நான் உம்மை அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்; நீர் என்னை அனுப்பினதை இவர்களும் அறிந்திருக்கிறார்கள்.

ஆனபடியினாலே, தேவனானவர் எங்களைக்கொண்டு புத்திசொல்லுகிறதுபோல, நாங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவுக்காக ஸ்தானாபதிகளாயிருந்து, தேவனோடே ஒப்புரவாகுங்கள் என்று, கிறிஸ்துவினிமித்தம் உங்களை வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறோம்.

இந்தப் பன்னிருவரையும் இயேசு அனுப்புகையில், அவர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டுச் சொன்னது என்னவென்றால்: நீங்கள் புறஜாதியார் நாட்டுக்குப் போகாமலும், சமாரியர் பட்டணங்களில் பிரவேசியாமலும்,
