மறுபடியும் எட்டுநாளைக்குப்பின்பு அவருடைய சீஷர்கள் வீட்டுக்குள்ளே இருந்தார்கள்; தோமாவும் அவர்களுடனேகூட இருந்தான்; கதவுகள் பூட்டப்பட்டிருந்தது. அப்பொழுது இயேசு வந்து நடுவே நின்று: உங்களுக்குச் சமாதானம் என்றார்.

ஒரு வாரத்திற்குப் பின் சீஷர்கள் முன்புபோல் அந்த வீட்டில் மீண்டும் கூடினர். தோமா அவர்களோடு இருந்தான். கதவுகள் மூடப்பட்டிருந்தன. ஆனால் இயேசு வந்து அவர்களின் நடுவில் நின்றார். “சமாதானம் உங்களோடு இருக்கட்டும்” என்றார்.

எட்டு நாள்களுக்குப்பின் அவருடைய சீடர்கள் மீண்டும் உள்ளே கூடியிருந்தார்கள். அன்று தோமாவும் அவர்களோடு இருந்தார். கதவுகள் பூட்டப்பட்டிருந்தும் இயேசு உள்ளே வந்து அவர்கள் நடுவில் நின்று, “உங்களுக்கு அமைதி உரித்தாகுக!” என்று வாழ்த்தினார்.
