இணை வசனம்

வருகிறவர் நீர்தானா? அல்லது வேறொருவர் வரக்காத்திருக்கவேண்டுமா? என்று அவரிடத்தில் கேட்கும்படி அனுப்பினான்.

அதற்கு ஜனங்கள்: கலிலேயாவிலுள்ள நாசரேத்திலிருந்து வந்த தீர்க்கதரிசியாகிய இயேசு என்றார்கள்.

அப்பொழுது அவர்கள்: பின்னை யார்? நீர் எலியாவா என்று கேட்டார்கள் அதற்கு: நான் அவன் அல்ல என்றான். நீர் தீர்க்கதரிசியானவரா என்று கேட்டார்கள். அதற்கும்: அல்ல என்றான்.

ஜனங்களில் அநேகர் இந்த வசனத்தைக் கேட்டபொழுது: மெய்யாகவே இவர் தீர்க்கதரிசியானவர் என்றார்கள்.

சமாதான கர்த்தர் வருமளவும் செங்கோல் யூதாவைவிட்டு நீங்குவதும் இல்லை, நியாயப்பிரமாணிக்கன் அவன் பாதங்களை விட்டு ஒழிவதும் இல்லை; ஜனங்கள் அவரிடத்தில் சேருவார்கள்.

அப்பொழுது அந்த ஸ்திரீ அவரை நோக்கி: ஆண்டவரே, நீர் தீர்க்கதரிசி என்று காண்கிறேன்.

உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்னைப் போல ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசியை உனக்காக உன் நடுவே உன் சகோதரரிலிருந்து எழும்பப் பண்ணுவார்; அவருக்குச் செவிகொடுப்பீர்களாக.

எல்லாரும் பயமடைந்து: மகா தீர்க்கதரிசியானவர் நமக்குள்ளே தோன்றியிருக்கிறார் என்றும், தேவன் தமது ஜனங்களைச் சந்தித்தார் என்றும் சொல்லி, தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தினார்கள்.

அவர்: எவைகள் என்றார். அதற்கு அவர்கள். நசரேயனாகிய இயேசுவைக் குறித்தவைகளே; அவர் தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகவும் ஜனங்களெல்லாருக்கு முன்பாகவும் செய்கையிலும் வாக்கிலும் வல்லமையுள்ள தீர்க்கதரிசியாயிருந்தார்.

அந்த ஸ்திரீ அவரை நோக்கி: கிறிஸ்து என்னப்படுகிற மேசியா வருகிறார் என்று அறிவேன், அவர் வரும்போது எல்லாவற்றையும் நமக்கு அறிவிப்பார் என்றாள்.

அந்த ஸ்திரீயை நோக்கி: உன் சொல்லினிமித்தம் அல்ல, அவருடைய உபதேசத்தை நாங்களே கேட்டு, அவர் மெய்யாய்க் கிறிஸ்துவாகிய உலகரட்சகர் என்று அறிந்து விசுவாசிக்கிறோம் என்றார்கள்.

மோசே பிதாக்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்னைப்போல ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசியை உங்களுக்காக உங்கள் சகோதரரிலிருந்து எழும்பப்பண்ணுவார்; அவர் உங்களுக்குச்சொல்லும் எல்லாவற்றிலும் அவருக்குச் செவிகொடுப்பீர்களாக.
