என்னில் அன்பாயிராதவன் என் வசனங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளமாட்டான். நீங்கள் கேட்கிற வசனம் என்னுடையதாயிராமல் என்னை அனுப்பின பிதாவினுடையதாயிருக்கிறது.

மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே நான் உனக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன், நாங்கள் அறிந்திருக்கிறதைச் சொல்லி, நாங்கள் கண்டதைக்குறித்துச் சாட்சிகொடுக்கிறோம், நீங்களோ எங்கள் சாட்சியை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறதில்லை.

குமாரனைக் கனம்பண்ணாதவன் அவரை அனுப்பின பிதாவையும் கனம்பண்ணாதவனாயிருக்கிறான்.

ஆதலால் இயேசு அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் மனுஷகுமாரனை உயர்த்தின பின்பு, நானே அவரென்றும், நான் என்சுயமாய் ஒன்றும் செய்யாமல், என் பிதா எனக்குப் போதித்தபடியே இவைகளைச் சொன்னேன் என்றும் அறிவீர்கள்.

நான் சுயமாய்ப் பேசவில்லை, நான் பேசவேண்டியது இன்னதென்றும் உபதேசிக்கவேண்டியது இன்னதென்றும் என்னை அனுப்பின பிதாவே எனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார்.

நான் பிதாவிலும், பிதா என்னிலும் இருக்கிறதை நீ விசுவாசிக்கிறதில்லையா? நான் உங்களுடனே சொல்லுகிற வசனங்களை என் சுயமாய்ச் சொல்லவில்லை; என்னிடத்தில் வாசமாயிருக்கிற பிதாவானவரே இந்தக் கிரியைகளைச் செய்துவருகிறார்.
