அப்பொழுது அவரைப் பிடிக்க வகைதேடினார்கள்; ஆனாலும் அவருடைய வேளை இன்னும் வராதபடியினால் ஒருவனும் அவர்மேல் கைபோடவில்லை.

அப்பொழுது அவரைப் பிடிக்க வகைதேடினார்கள்; ஆனாலும் அவருடைய நேரம் இன்னும் வராததினால் ஒருவனும் அவரைத் தொடவில்லை.

இயேசு இவ்வாறு சொன்னபிறகு மக்கள் அவரைப் பிடிக்க முயன்றார்கள். ஆனால் ஒருவராலும் இயேசுவைத் தொடமுடியவில்லை. இயேசு கொல்லப்படுவதற்கான சரியான நேரம் இன்னும் வரவில்லை.

இதைக் கேட்ட அவர்கள் இயேசுவைப் பிடிக்க முயன்றார்கள். எனினும், அவருடைய நேரம் இன்னும் வராததால் யாரும் அவரைத் தொடவில்லை.
