தம்மை விசுவாசிக்கிறவர்கள் அடையப்போகிற ஆவியைக்குறித்து இப்படிச்சொன்னார். இயேசு இன்னும் மகிமைப்படாதிருந்தபடியினால் பரிசுத்த ஆவி இன்னும் அருளப்படவில்லை.

இயேசு பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரைப்பற்றி இவ்வாறு பேசினார். இன்னும் மக்களுக்குப் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் பகிர்ந்தளிக்கப்படவில்லை. ஏனென்றால் இயேசு இன்னும் மரணமடையவும் இல்லை; மகிமையாக உயிர்த்தெழவும் இல்லை. ஆனால் பிறகு அவரிடம் விசுவாசம் வைக்கப்போகிற மக்கள் அனைவரும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரைப் பெறுவர்.

தம்மிடம் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டிருப்போர் பெறப்போகும் தூய ஆவியைக்குறித்தே அவர் இவ்வாறு சொன்னார். தூய ஆவி இன்னும் அருளப்படவில்லை. ஏனெனில், இயேசு மாட்சிப்படுத்தப்படவில்லை.
