கர்த்தர் லாகீசை இஸ்ரவேலின் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்; அதை இரண்டாம் நாளிலே பிடித்து, லிப்னாவுக்குச் செய்ததுபோல, அதையும் அதிலுள்ள எல்லா நரஜீவன்களையும் பட்டயக்கருக்கினால் அழித்தான்.

லாகீசு நகரத்தைத் தோற்கடிப்பதற்கு கர்த்தர் அவர்களை அனுமதித்தார். இரண்டாம் நாளில் அந்நகரைத் தோற்கடித்தார்கள். லிப்னாவில் செய்தபடியே, இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்கள் அந்நகரிலிருந்த அனைவரையும் கொன்றார்கள்.

ஆண்டவர் இலாக்கிசை இஸ்ரயேலின் கையில் ஒப்படைத்தார். அதை இரண்டாம் நாளில் யோசுவா கைப்பற்றினார். வாள்முனையில் அதை அழித்தார்; அதனுள் இருந்த அனைவருக்கும் லிப்னாவுக்குச் செய்தது போல் செய்தார்.⒫
