அதையும் அதின் ராஜாவையும் அதைச் சேர்ந்த எல்லாப் பட்டணங்களையும் பிடித்தான்; அவைகளைப் பட்டயக்கருக்கினால் அழித்து, அதிலுள்ள நரஜீவன்களையெல்லாம், ஒருவரையும் மீதியாக வைக்காமல், சங்காரம்பண்ணினார்கள்; எபிரோனுக்கும் லிப்னாவுக்கும் அவைகளின் ராஜாவுக்கும் செய்ததுபோலத் தெபீருக்கும் அதின் ராஜாவுக்கும் செய்தான்.

அதையும் அதின் ராஜாவையும் அதைச் சேர்ந்த எல்லாப் பட்டணங்களையும் பிடித்தான்; அவைகளைப் பட்டயத்தினால் அழித்து, அதிலுள்ள உயிரினங்களையெல்லாம், ஒருவரையும் மீதியாக வைக்காமல், அழித்தார்கள்; எபிரோனுக்கும் லிப்னாவுக்கும் அவைகளின் ராஜாவுக்கும் செய்ததுபோல தெபீருக்கும் அதின் ராஜாவுக்கும் செய்தான்.

அவர்கள் நகரத்தையும், அதன் அரசனையும், நகரைச் சுற்றிலுமிருந்த சிறிய ஊர்களையும், கைப்பற்றினார்கள். அந்நகரில் வாழ்ந்த அனைவரையும் கொன்றனர். யாரும் உயிரோடுவிடப்படவில்லை. எபிரோனுக்கும் அதன் அரசனுக்கும் செய்ததையே இஸ்ரவேலர் தெபீருக்கும் அதன் அரசனுக்கும் செய்தனர். அவ்வாறே லிப்னாவிற்கும் அதன் அரசனுக்கும் செய்திருந்தனர்.

அதன் மன்னனையும் எல்லா நகர்களையும் கைப்பற்றினர். அவர்களை வாள்முனையில் தாக்கினர். அதனுள் இருந்த அனைவரையும் அழித்தனர். எவரையும் உயிருடன் தப்பவிடவில்லை. லிப்னாவுக்கும் அதன் மன்னனுக்கும் செய்ததுபோல், தெபீருக்கும் அதன் மன்னனுக்கும் அவர் செய்தார்.⒫
