யோசுவா 11:12
அந்த ராஜாக்களுடைய எல்லாப்பட்டணங்களையும் அவைகளுடைய எல்லா ராஜாக்களையும் யோசுவா பிடித்து, பட்டயக்கருக்கினால் வெட்டி, கர்த்தருடைய தாசனாகிய மோசே கட்டளையிட்டபடி, அவர்களைச் சங்காரம்பண்ணினான்.

யோசுவா எல்லா நகரங்களையும் கைப்பற்றினான். அவற்றின் அரசர்களையும், நகரங்களில் இருந்த எல்லாவற்றையும் அழித்தான். கர்த்தருடைய ஊழியனாகிய மோசே, கட்டளையிட்டபடியே யோசுவா செய்தான்.

யோசுவா, அந்த எல்லா நகர்களையும் அவற்றின் மன்னர்களையும் கைப்பற்றினார். ஆண்டவரின் ஊழியர் மோசே கட்டளையிட்டிருந்தபடி அவர்களை வாள்முனையில் கொன்று அடியோடு அழித்தார்.
