அப்படியே யோசுவா, கர்த்தர் மோசேயினிடத்தில் சொன்னபடியெல்லாம் தேசமனைத்தையும் பிடித்து, அதை இஸ்ரவேலருக்கு, அவர்கள் கோத்திரங்களுடைய பங்குகளின்படியே, சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுத்தான்; யுத்தம் ஓய்ந்ததினால் தேசம் அமைதலாயிருந்தது.

அப்படியே யோசுவா, கர்த்தர் மோசேயிடம் சொன்னபடியெல்லாம் முழு தேசத்தையும் பிடித்து, அதை இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு, அவர்களின் கோத்திரங்களுடைய பங்குகளின்படியே, சொந்தமாகக் கொடுத்தான்; யுத்தம் ஓய்ந்ததினால் தேசம் அமைதலாக இருந்தது.

முன்பே கர்த்தர் மோசேக்குக் கூறியிருந்தபடி, யோசுவா இஸ்ரவேல் நாட்டின் மீது ஆதிக்கம் உடையவனானான். வாக்களித்தபடியே கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலருக்கு அத்தேசத்தைக் கொடுத்தார். இஸ்ரவேலின் கோத்திரங்கள் அனைத்திற்கும் அத்தேசத்தை யோசுவா பிரித்துக் கொடுத்தான். இறுதியில் போர் முடிந்து, அத்தேசத்தில் அமைதி நிலவிற்று.
