தேசத்தை அதின் எல்லைகளின்படி சுதந்தரமாகப் பங்கிட்டுத் தீர்ந்தபோது, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் நூனின் குமாரனாகிய யோசுவாவுக்குத் தங்கள் நடுவிலே ஒரு சுதந்தரத்தைக் கொடுத்தார்கள்.
