அந்த மனுஷர் யோர்தானுக்குப் போகிற வழியில் துறைகள் மட்டும் அவர்களைத் தேடப்போனார்கள்; அவர்களைத் தேடுகிறவர்கள் புறப்பட்டவுடனே வாசல் அடைக்கப்பட்டது.

எனவே அரசனால் அனுப்பப்பட்ட ஆட்கள் நகரத்திற்கு வெளியே சென்ற பின்பு, நகர வாயிலை அடைத்தனர். இஸ்ரவேலிலிருந்து வந்த இருவரையும் தேடி அரசனின் மனிதர்கள் சென்றனர். அவர்கள் யோர்தான் நதிக்குச் சென்று, ஜனங்கள் நதியைக் கடக்கும் எல்லா இடங்களிலும் அவர்களைத் தேடினார்கள்.
