ஆசாரியனாகிய எலெயாசாரின் குமாரனாகிய பினெகாசும், பிரபுக்களும், கிலேயாத் தேசத்தில் இருக்கிற ரூபன் புத்திரரையும் விட்டு, கானான் தேசத்திற்கு இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரிடத்தில் திரும்பிவந்து, அவர்களுக்கு மறுசெய்தி சொன்னார்கள்.

ஆசாரியனான எலெயாசாரின் மகனாகிய பினெகாசும், பிரபுக்களும், கீலேயாத் தேசத்தில் இருக்கிற ரூபனுடைய கோத்திரத்தார்களையும், காத்தின் கோத்திரத்தார்களையும் விட்டு, கானான் தேசத்திற்கு இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களிடம் திரும்பிவந்து, அவர்களுக்கு மறுசெய்தி சொன்னார்கள்.

பிறகு பினெகாசும், தலைவர்களும் அங்கிருந்துԔ தங்கள் இருப்பிடத்திற்குத் திரும்பிச் சென்றனர். ரூபன், காத் ஜனங்களைக் கீலேயாத் தேசத்தில் விட்டு கானானுக்குப் போனார்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களிடம் அவர்கள் திரும்பிப் போய் நடந்தவற்றைக் கூறினார்கள்.
