ஜனங்களை நோக்கி: பட்டணத்தைச் சுற்றி நடந்துபோங்கள்; யுத்தசன்னத்தரானவர்கள் கர்த்தரின் பெட்டிக்குமுன் நடக்கக்கடவர்கள் என்றான்.

பின் யோசுவா ஜனங்களிடம், “இப்போது புறப்பட்டுச் செல்லுங்கள்! நகரைச் சுற்றிலும் அணிவகுத்துச் செல்லுங்கள். கர்த்தருடைய பரிசுத்தப் பெட்டிக்கு முன்பாக ஆயுதமேந்திய வீரர்கள் அணிவகுத்துச் செல்வார்கள்” என்றான்.
