கானானியரும் தேசத்துக்குடிகள் யாவரும் இதைக்கேட்டு, எங்களை வளைந்துகொண்டு, எங்கள் பேரைப் பூமியிலிராதபடிக்கு வேரற்றுப்போகப்பண்ணுவார்களே; அப்பொழுது உமத்து மகத்தான நாமத்துக்கு என்ன செய்வீர் என்றான்.

கானானியர்களும் தேசத்தின் குடிகள் அனைவரும் இதைக்கேட்டு, எங்களைச் சுற்றி வளைத்துக்கொண்டு, எங்களுடைய பெயரை பூமியில் இல்லாதபடிக்கு வேரில்லாமற்போகச் செய்வார்களே; அப்பொழுது உமது மகத்தான நாமத்திற்கு என்ன செய்வீர் என்றான்.

கானானியரும் நாட்டில் வாழும் அனைவரும் இதைக் கேட்டு எங்களைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டு எங்கள் பெயரை உலகிலிருந்தே அழித்துவிடுவார்களே? அப்போது உமது பெருமை மிக்க பெயரைக் காக்க என்ன செய்வீர்?” என்றார்.⒫
