அதற்கு அவர்கள்: உம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தின் பிரஸ்தாபத்தைக் கேட்டு, உமது அடியாராகிய நாங்கள் வெகு தூரதேசத்திலிருந்து வந்தோம்; அவருடைய கீர்த்தியையும், அவர் எகிப்திலே செய்த யாவையும்,

அந்த ஆட்கள் அதற்குப் பதிலாக, “நாங்கள் உங்கள் பணியாட்கள். நாங்கள் தூரத்திலுள்ள நாட்டிலிருந்து வந்துள்ளோம். உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய மிகுந்த வல்லமையை அறிந்ததால் இங்கு வந்தோம். அவர் செய்த காரியங்களை அறிந்துள்ளோம். அவர் எகிப்தில் செய்தவற்றையும் அறிந்தோம்.

அவர்கள் அவரிடம், “மிகவும் தொலையில் உள்ள நாட்டிலிருந்து உங்கள் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவரின் பெயரால் உங்கள் பணியாளர்கள் வந்திருக்கின்றார்கள். ஏனெனில், அவரது பெயரைப் பற்றியும், அவர் எகிப்து நாட்டில் செய்த அனைத்தைப்பற்றியும் கேள்விப்பட்டோம்.
