நியாயாதிபதிகள் 12:2
அதற்கு யெப்தா: எனக்கும் என் ஜனத்திற்கும் அம்மோன் புத்திரரோடே பெரிய வழக்கு இருக்கும்போது, நான் உங்களைக் கூப்பிட்டேன்; நீங்கள் என்னை அவர்கள் கைக்கு நீங்கலாக்கி ரட்சிக்கவில்லை.

யெப்தா அவர்களுக்குப் பதிலாக, “அம்மோனிய ஜனங்கள் நமக்குத் தொல்லை தந்து கொண்டே இருந்தனர். எனவே நானும் எனது ஜனங்களும் அவர்களுக்கெதிராகப் போர் செய்தோம். நான் உங்களை அழைத்தேன். ஆனால் நீங்கள் எங்களுக்கு உதவ வரவில்லை.
