அவன் சோராவுக்கும் எஸ்தாவோலுக்கும் நடுவிலுள்ள தாணின் பாளயத்தில் இருக்கையில் கர்த்தருடைய ஆவியானவர் அவனை ஏவத்துவக்கினார்.

கர்த்தருடைய ஆவி சிம்சோன் மீது வந்து, அவன் மகானே தாண் என்னும் நகரிலிருக்கும்போது கர்த்தருடைய ஆவியானவர் கிரியை செய்ய ஆரம்பித்தார். மகானே நகரம் என்பது சோரா என்னும் நகரத்திற்கும் எஸ்தாவோல் என்னும் நகரத்திற்கும் நடுவில் உள்ளது.
