நியாயாதிபதிகள் 13:9
தேவன் மனோவாவின் சத்தத்துக்குச் செவிகொடுத்தார்; அந்த ஸ்திரீ வயல் வெளியில் இருக்கும்போது தேவனுடைய தூதனானவர் திரும்பவும் அவளிடத்தில் வந்தார்; அப்பொழுது அவள் புருஷனாகிய மனோவா அவளோடே இருக்கவில்லை.

தேவன் மனோவாவின் சத்தத்திற்குச் செவிகொடுத்தார்; அந்தப் பெண் வயல்வெளியில் இருக்கும்போது தேவனுடைய தூதனானவர் திரும்பவும் அவளிடத்தில் வந்தார்; அப்பொழுது அவள் கணவனாகிய மனோவா அவளோடே இருக்கவில்லை.

தேவன் மனோவாவின் ஜெபத்தைக் கேட்டார். தேவதூதன் அப்பெண்ணிடம் மீண்டும் வந்தான். அவள் மனோவா இல்லாதபோது வயலில் தனித்திருந்தாள்.

கடவுள் மனோவாகின் வேண்டுதலைக் கேட்டார். கடவுளின் தூதர் மீண்டும் அப்பெண்ணிடம் வந்தார். அப்போது அவர் வயலில் அமர்ந்திருந்தார். அவருடைய கணவர் மனோவாகு அவருடன் இல்லை.
