அப்பொழுது அந்த ஐந்து மனுஷரும் புறப்பட்டு, லாயீசுக்குப் போய், அதில் குடியிருக்கிற ஜனங்கள் சீதோனியருடைய வழக்கத்தின்படியே, பயமில்லாமல் அமரிக்கையும் சுகமுமாய் இருக்கிறதையும், தேசத்திலே அவர்களை அடக்கி ஆள யாதொரு அதிகாரியும் இல்லை என்பதையும், அவர்கள் சீதோனியருக்குத் தூரமானவர்கள் என்பதையும், அவர்களுக்கு ஒருவரோடும் கவை காரியம் இல்லை என்பதையும் கண்டு,

அப்பொழுது அந்த ஐந்து மனிதர்களும் புறப்பட்டு, லாயீசுக்குப் போய், அதில் குடியிருக்கிற மக்கள் சீதோனியர்களுடைய வழக்கத்தின்படியே, பயமில்லாமல் அமைதியாகவும் சுகமாக இருக்கிறதையும், தேசத்திலே அவர்களை அடக்கி ஆள எந்த ஒரு அதிகாரியும் இல்லை என்பதையும், அவர்கள் சீதோனியர்களுக்குத் தூரமானவர்கள் என்பதையும், அவர்களுக்கு ஒருவரோடும் கொடுக்கல் வாங்கல் விவகாரங்கள் இல்லை என்பதையும் பார்த்து,

எனவே அந்த 5 மனிதர்களும் அங்கிருந்து சென்றனர். அவர்கள் லாயீஸ் நகரத்திற்குச் சென்றனர். அந்நகர ஜனங்கள் பாதுகாப்பாக வாழ்வதைக் கண்டனர். அவர்களைச் சீதோனியர் ஆண்டு வந்தனர். எல்லாம் சமாதானத்தேடு, அமைதியாக நடைபெற்றன. அவர்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும் நிறைவாய் பெற்றிருந்தனர். எந்தப் பகைவரும் அவர்களைத் துன்புறுத்துவதற்கு அருகே இருக்கவில்லை. மேலும் அவர்கள் சீதோனிலிருந்து வெகுதூரத்தில் வாழ்ந்து வந்தார்கள். ஆராமின் ஜனங்களோடும் எத்தகைய ஒப்பந்தமும் அவர்கள் செய்திருக்கவில்லை.

திருவிவிலியம்
ஐவரும் பயணத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து இலாயிசை வந்தடைந்தபொழுது அங்கிருந்த மக்கள் அச்சமின்றி, சீதோனியர் நெறிமுறைக்கேற்ப, அமைதியாக கவலையற்றவர்களாக வாழ்வதைக் கண்டனர். நாடு எதிலும் குறைவற்றதாகவும், செழிப்புடையதாகவும் இருந்தது. அம்மக்கள் சீதோனியரிடமிருந்து தூரத்தில் இருந்ததால் அவர்களுடன் எவ்விதத் தொடர்பும் கொண்டிருக்கவில்லை.
