நியாயாதிபதிகள் 2:3
ஆகையால் நான் அவர்களை உங்கள் முகத்திற்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்துவதில்லை என்றேன்; அவர்கள் உங்களை நெருக்குவார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய தேவர்கள் உங்களுக்குக் கண்ணியாவார்கள் என்றார்.

ஆகவே, நான் அவர்களை உங்களுக்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்துவதில்லை என்றேன்; அவர்கள் உங்களை நெருக்குவார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய தெய்வங்கள் உங்களுக்குக் கண்ணியாவார்கள் என்றார்.

“இப்போது நான் உங்களுக்கு இதைக் கூறுகிறேன், ‘இவ்விடத்தை விட்டுப் போகும்படியாக அங்குள்ள ஜனங்களை இனிமேலும் நான் வற்புறுத்தமாட்டேன். இந்த ஜனங்கள் எப்போதும் உங்களுக்குப் பிரச்சனையாய் இருப்பார்கள். அவர்கள் உங்களுக்கு ஒரு கண்ணியைப் போன்றிருப்பார்கள். உங்களைப் பிடிப்பதற்கு விரிக்கப்படும் வலையைப்போன்று அவர்களின் பொய்த் தெய்வங்கள் அமைவார்கள்’”.

said,	אָמַ֔רְתִּי	ʾāmartî	ah-MAHR-tee

	אוֹתָ֖ם	ʾôtām	oh-TAHM
