உடனே சபையார் பலவான்களில் பன்னீராயிரம்பேரை அங்கே அழைத்து: நீங்கள் போய், கீலேயாத்திலுள்ள யாபேசின் குடிகளை ஸ்திரீகளோடும் பிள்ளைகளோடும் பட்டயக்கருக்கினால் வெட்டுங்கள்.

உடனே சபையார் பெலவான்களில் பன்னிரண்டாயிரம்பேரை அங்கே அழைத்து: நீங்கள் கீலேயாத்திலுள்ள யாபேசிற்குப் போய், பெண்களையும் பிள்ளைகளையும்கூட கூர்மையான பட்டயத்தால் கொன்றுபோடுங்கள்.

எனவே இஸ்ரவேலர் 12,000 வீரர்களை கீலேயாத்திலுள்ள யாபேசு நகரத்திற்கு அனுப்பினார்கள். அவர்கள் வீரரிடம், “கீலேயாத்திலுள்ள யாபேசுக்குப் போங்கள். உங்கள் வாளால் அங்கு வாழும் அனைவரையும் பெண்களையும் குழந்தைகளையும் கூட கொல்லுங்கள்.
