கர்த்தருடைய தூதனானவர் அவனுக்குத் தரிசனமாகி: பராக்கிரமசாலியே கர்த்தர் உன்னோடே இருக்கிறார் என்றார்.

அவள் இருந்த வீட்டில் தேவதூதன் பிரவேசித்து: கிருபை பெற்றவளே வாழ்க, கர்த்தர் உன்னுடனே இருக்கிறார், ஸ்திரீகளுக்குள்ளே நீ ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவள் என்றான்.

நீ உயிரோடிருக்கும் நாளெல்லாம் ஒருவனும் உனக்கு முன்பாக எதிர்த்து நிற்பதில்லை: நான் மோசேயோடே இருந்ததுபோல, உன்னோடும் இருப்பேன்; நான் உன்னைவிட்டு விலகுவதுமில்லை, உன்னைக் கைவிடுவதுமில்லை.

கர்த்தருடைய தூதனானவர் அந்த ஸ்திரீக்குத் தரிசனமாகி, அவளை நோக்கி: இதோ, பிள்ளைபெறாத மலடியான நீ கர்ப்பந்தரித்து, ஒரு குமாரனைப் பெறுவாய்.

நான் உனக்குக் கட்டளையிடவில்லையா? பலங்கொண்டு திடமனதாயிரு; திகையாதே, கலங்காதே, நீ போகும் இடமெல்லாம் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னோடே இருக்கிறார் என்றார்.
