முந்நூறுபேரும் எக்காளங்களை ஊதுகையில், கர்த்தர் பாளயமெங்கும் ஒருவர் பட்டயத்தை ஒருவருக்கு விரோதமாய் ஓங்கப்பண்ணினார்; சேனையானது சேரோத்திலுள்ள பெத்சித்தாமட்டும், தாபாத்திற்குச் சமீபமான ஆபேல்மேகொலாவின் எல்லைமட்டும் ஓடிப்போயிற்று.

முந்நூறுபேரும் எக்காளங்களை ஊதும்போது, கர்த்தர் முகாமெங்கும் ஒருவர் பட்டயத்தை ஒருவருக்கு எதிராக ஓங்கச்செய்தார்; ராணுவமானது சேரோத்திலுள்ள பெத்சித்தாவரை, தாபாத்திற்கு அருகிலுள்ள ஆபேல் மெகொலாவின் எல்லைவரை ஓடிப்போனது.

கிதியோனின் 300 மனிதர்களும் எக்காளங்களை ஊதியபொழுது, மீதியானியர் ஒருவரையொருவர் தங்கள் வாள்களால் கொல்லும்படியாக கர்த்தர் செய்தார். சேரோ நகரத்திற்கு அருகேயுள்ள பெத்சித்தா என்னும் நகரத்திற்கு பகைவரின் படைகள் ஓட்டம் எடுத்தனர். தாபாத் நகரத்தின் அருகேயுள்ள ஆபேல்மேகொலா நகரத்தின் எல்லை வரைக்கும் அவர்கள் ஓடிச் சென்றார்கள்.

அப்பொழுது முந்நூறு பேரும் எக்காளம் ஊதினர். ஆண்டவர் பாளையம் முழுவதிலும் ஒவ்வொருவனும் மற்றவன்மீது வாள்வீசச் செய்தார். பாளையத்தினர் செரேராவை நோக்கி பெத்சிற்றாவரையிலும் தபாத்தாவில் உள்ள ஆபல்மெகோலா எல்லைவரையிலும் தப்பி ஓடினர்.
