நியாயாதிபதிகள் 8:8
அவ்விடம் விட்டு, பெனூவேலுக்குப்போய், அவ்வூராரிடத்தில் அந்தப்படியே கேட்டான்; சுக்கோத்தின் மனுஷர் பிரதியுத்தரமாகச் சொன்னபடியே பெனூவேலின் மனுஷரும் அவனுக்குச் சொன்னார்கள்.

அவ்விடம் விட்டு, பெனூவேலுக்குப் போய், அந்த ஊர்க்காரர்களிடத்தில் அந்தப்படியே கேட்டான்; சுக்கோத்தின் மனிதர்கள் பதில் சொன்னபடியே பெனூவேலின் மனிதர்களும் அவனுக்குச் சொன்னார்கள்.

சுக்கோத் நகரை விட்டு வெளியேறிய கிதியோன் பெனூவேல் நகரத்திற்குச் சென்றான். கிதியோன் பெனூவேலின் ஆட்களிடமும் உணவு கேட்டான். சுக்கோத்தின் மனிதர்களைப் போலவே பெனூவேலின் ஆட்களும் கிதியோனுக்குப் பதில் கூறினார்கள்.

அங்கிருந்து பெனுவேலுக்குச் சென்று இதேபோல அவர்களிடமும் கேட்டார். சுக்கோத்து மக்கள் பதிலளித்தது போலவே, பெனுவேல் மக்களும் அவருக்குப் பதிலளித்தனர்.
